Safety Warning (Mandatory Reading)

  • Do NOT hot-plug the FMC interface. Always turn off the FPGA carrier board power before installation or removal.
  • Take electrostatic protection measures. Discharge static electricity from human body before operation to avoid electrostatic breakdown of chips.
  • Align the HDMI interface correctly when plugging in or out. Operate gently to prevent pin bending or breakage.
  • Do NOT use in high-temperature, humid or strong electromagnetic interference environments.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Turn off the FPGA carrier board power. Align the mezzanine card FMC interface with the carrier board slot, insert smoothly and fasten the screws.
  2. Connect HDMI signal source (input) or HDMI display (output) according to development requirements.
  3. Turn on the carrier board power. The FPGA automatically recognizes the mezzanine card model and configuration information via I2C.
  4. Load the video project in VIVADO development environment and configure HDMI input/output timing.
  5. Run the test program to verify whether the 4K video capture, transmission and display functions work properly.
